Looks to be a very important book for understanding human nature. It answers many questions about why we do the crazy things we do. I would love it if this became a best seller. Society would improve beyond belief....

Fabulous prose. I've been listening to many of his views on his podcasts, which I highly recommend: the kunstlercast. It is marvelous to read them in order and so meticulously crafted. I was depressed for weeks after reading The Long Emergency, but the world has become SO weirded out that JHK's narration of it now somehow makes it easier to take.
