Much better read than the previous book, less history and more action and intrigue. Cotton teams up with Cassiopeia to handle a request by ex president Danny Daniels.
They are researching the parentage of a man running to become Germany’s next chancellor. What they discover could be detrimental to his election bid. There are many who know of this quest and wish them to fail or find out other damaging information.

Oz’s job opportunities grow in the tale. Oz seems to have a black cloud over his head as people he is close to are having accidents some close to being fatal and he needs to find out who this person is and stop him.
Couple of good reveals that are unexpected in the final chapters. All in all an enjoyable read.

Good read with four short stories, all should be read before “missing and the dead”. Fills in a few blanks about Sam’s condition and Logan’s eventual move.
Taking a break before reading next McBride thriller. Need to read a Christmas story or two as it is mid December

Another entertaing read, some funny moments blended in with the crime story.
Building on characters again through several earlier books. Looking forward to next in series now.
