I'd like to take a small moment of applause for myself. It's been 2+ years since I read book 6. I'm cursed with the affliction of needing to start series over if I ever step away for a bit, but after having an internal debate for legit 30 minutes, I decided to resume The Expanse at book 7. Growth!

Can't believe how enjoyable the first 100 pages have been. My biggest takeaway is that we need to bring back diaries!

New audiobook for my runs/around the house. I forgot how good this prologue was, and how exciting it is for the expansion of this world.

Told myself I was going to take a break from Cosmere-related books. 24 hours later, I really didn't want to take a break - the heart wants what it wants! First few chapters have been delightful

Going to finish this week!

We're on Day 9!!

At the point where I just want to stay home and read this all day

It is always an odd feeling to be 675 pages in and yet only about halfway finished with a book. But here, it means I only have that many pages left in this series, so I'm savoring every chapter. Loving this so far

Through day 2 - really enjoying it so far!

Characters are having what feels like goodbye scenes with each other - not sure I'm ready for this!

Finishing "Part 2" at page 850 and being less than 70% done is such a weird feeling. Loving this book though
