This is the last book of the series . I can’t help but still love Pearl. Her, and her loved ones are experiencing their first taste of snow. The author of this book has such a talent for bringing the characters to life. For such a small girl, she has already been through so much. The whole family. The year is 1935. My Aunt C who passed away during Covid would have been 5. How life has changed since back then.

For me, the beginning of this book started off slow. However, it has started to pick up and I’m finding myself quite engrossed in the story line. I am finding myself enjoying the character of Tamlin a lot. As for the main character Faire, I have been waiting for her to let her guard down and relax a little. And she has thankfully began to do just that. I am liking Lucien as well and suspect he will grow on me more.

The war is still raging, but I find at this new chapter that they have captured Juliette again. The last chapter told in Kenji’s voice tells us that Warner had used Kenji and Nazeera’s invisibility to cloak J. Unfortunately Anderson knew of his power to siphon other people’s super powers.

So far this book is really good! Definitely a page turner that is full of mystery and adventure. I can’t decide which Hawthorne brother is my fav. I think Jameson comes in first with Xander and Grayson coming in as a close tie for second. I also love Nash and am rooting for him and Libby to fall in love. I think loving the characters this much says a lot about the authors talent of character development.

So far this book is incredible. It is inspiring and filled with revelation. This book speaks volumes of clarity for what I am currently going through.

The forecast is simple. Good days. Bad days. But God is in all days. He is the Lord of the famine and the feast, and he uses both to accomplish His will.

Hearing Day unburden his heart and connect with June brings tears to my eyes. I had forgotten how much I have craved and wanted them to have a happily ever after. Will it happen? I really really hope so.

So far into this book, Marie Lu does not disappoint. I love her as a writer and admire her craftiness in story weaving. I first fell in love with Lu during Legend.

So far I am loving it. Tahereh uses her words and shapes them into clouds that float so high. Warner’s character surprised me a lot. There is depth of character that shows he is more than a torture device

So far I am finding this book quite interesting. I so want Adam to shake off his good soldier complex and be the hero Juliette wants and needs him to be.

Really enjoying the second book in An Ember in the Ashes series.

Kari is starting Drums of Autumn (Outlander, #4)
I think this might be my favorite of the series so far. Reading from the point of view of Bree, Roger, and Jamie is a fresh breath of air. I love Claire, but sometimes find myself wanting to skip through some of her explanations and feelings.
