The first part of this book is super boring, but it gets REALLY good when the clown appears! Well, the bad clown.

I dunno. Some authors are great at having A LOT of characters, changing points of view, and navigating time (before and now), but I find myself insanely confused. Justin Cronin is an author who has TONS of characters and I never get lost in whilst reading his books, so I know this isn't me... I'm intrigued enough to continue, though. I can't tell you who the main character is, though. You'd think I'd know by now...

If I'm right about what I thought 20 pages in, I will not be happy. Honestly, I don't think that this is a very good book, but I want to find out what happens--That's really all it is. :-/

Malerman is one of my favorite authors, because of BIRD BOX and MALORIE, but I haven't really gotten into his books since. They are definitely on my list, but I decided to jump into this one, since it's the newest. HOLY CRAP! Malerman writes so amazingly from the perspective a little girl. It is quite brilliant, which I already thought about the man. AMAZING and I cannot wait to finish and find out what happens! :)

I'm loving it!!! Scalzi, from the one other story I've read from him, is quite talented and I'd love to read more. There are just SO many books to get through now...

REVIEW TO COME! Sooooo good, though! :-)

I have read a lot of prologues in my 35 years, but there was something so intriguing about this one. First, Mr. Cronin wrote my favorite trilogy (The Passage), so I know that this book was probably going to be good. I still think it will, especially because of that prologue. Dang! So good!

REVIEW TO COME. The only thing that I will say is that I feel the same way at the end of the "Harry Potter" series. The ending was, plain and simply, rushed. Otherwise, it was a good book and the entire series was definitely worth the journey Ms. Cole took us on! :) :)

Second time through, since the sixth book took a little while to come out. The Dark Calling is one of the better of the 6 for sure!

Still getting ready for Book 6!! I only have a few weeks left! 😂

Something happened with Ms. Cole and the last book in the series (From the Grave) took a LONG TIME to be published. Now, I have to remember what happened, so I'm going at it again! ;)

Terrifying--depending on how much is a "true story."

This is my third time through the book. I always get SO upset when they didn't finish the film series :( :( :(

I'm obsessed with an often-overlooked movie called 'As Above, So Below' staring Perdita Weeks (known for her current role in Magnum PI as Julien "Higgens"), Ben Feldman (I know him from his character in the original 'Cloverfield' and he was also in the 2009 version of 'Friday the 13th'), and a bunch of decent-known French actors. So, I knew this book was going to be something I would enjoy and, so far, I'm obsessed!

This book had SO much potential--right now, it's at a C+, so it'll take an AMAZING ending to get a higher grade! Come on, Liz MIchalski!!! I know you have an amazing ending coming!

I am now OBSESSED with Peter Pan being the bad guy and I'm pretty excited; there are quite a few books where Pan is the bad guy!!! I'll be busy for a while!

It's getting really interesting now.

I'm hoping the ending with make this worth it. The book is kind of all over the place; I'm not talking about going from prior to Silvie's parents' death and then after. It just seems to not follow a normal novel in the right way....

This is super early in the book, but I've read almost all of the books about Ed and Lorraine's exploits (they might be charlatans... I don't know...) and it seems similar....I love it so far, though.

Honestly loving this one. It's not the greatest book in the world, but I'm a huge Murray and Wearmouth fan! I cannot wait to see what happens!!!

It's pretty good and I'm very intrigued, based on the crazy stuff that has happened. I'm worried that this one might fall flat.... Crossing my fingers!!!
