I've been so bored for most of this half of the book.
I feel like nothing is really happening. It reminds me when I listened to thr last two books of the Crave series. The characters were constantly on the go, but it felt like nothing was really happening.

I'm really enjoying it! But I'm pretty sure Maddox's couch is the killer.

Only on page 10, and I'm addicted. I shouldn’t be surprised, though Sara Shepard's books always draw me in.

I can definitely tell that this book was written by a different person, than the original trilogy. I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to like it, and if I don't I probably won't read the next two books.

I've read the first 2 chapters so far, and I'm intrigued. I can't remember how the show started because it's been so long since I watched it, but I'm pretty sure it was not like this. Honestly, though, I'm not surprised, Vampire Diaries show and books are nothing alike, so why should this series be any different.

I'm kind of bored right now, but I've heard this book had a slow start, so I'm going to stick with it.

Enjoying it so far, it is a little different from the show.
I'm so happy I bought the UK edition and not the US one.

I managed to finish it before it returned, but the last hour and a half was so boring.

I'm currently 79% through the audiobook, and it returns in 1 day.
I'm enjoying the book, but not enough to listen to it anytime other than when I'm driving, which is why it's taking so long to get through. I don't believe I'm going to finish it before it returns, and the wait list for this book is long. I want to know how it ends, but at the same time, I don't care.

I'm a little annoyed that she's still in the London Enclave. Can we move on already?

I'm enjoying it, but some of the main character's information is repeatative from book 1.
I probably wouldn't mind much if I'd read them with a lot of time between because it would just be recapping me on somethings as I read, but since I just finished the first book it's a little annoying.
But I'm still enjoying it.

I'm loving it so far. I've put of reading this for years because I've heard mixed reviews, but I'm really enjoying it.

Kinda interesting, but also kinda bored.
I blame the audiobook on the boredom.
Anyway, I'm giving up on the audiobook. I may or may not try to actually read the physical book in the future.

I ran out of characters on my last update.
I've listened several audiobooks and never had a problem following what was going on. I've also listened to several in similar time periods with similar accents, so it has nothing to do with the narrator.
I think the writing would be hard to follow even if I was reading.

I thought her dinner was with a group of faeries, then something got said at the end that made me think, no wait I don't think they're faeries.
Then now all of a sudden she's writing that she meet one, but I don't think that meeting was on page.
I'm having a hard time following what's happening and I don't see why it would be because I'm listening rather than reading. I've listened to several audiobooks and never...

Apparently I missed thr introduction of a new character, probably because I'm so bored with this book.

I'm listening to the audiobook and I swear it just had one little sentence slip into 3rd person. Either that or I missed the arrival of a new female character.
I'm going to go back a little and listen, but right now I wish I had a physical copy to look at.

I'm still so bored. I'm listening to the audiobook, but it feels like I'm listening to a nature documentary.

Halfway through chapter 1, and I'm already bored. I'm going to keep at it and hope it gets better.
