This one called out to me unbidden, and it’s fantastic. Orwell’s “Shooting an Elephant” + Dante’s Inferno + the Coen Brother’s version of “No Country for Old Men” + some fantastic and grizzly frontier horror. I’m so glad it found me — I am possessed now.
