I realize it's a little thing to be hung up on, but the sentence "The adjacent wall was constructed out of one gigantic bookcase nearly twice as tall as she was" being followed one sentence later with a sentence ending in "and provided access to the taller shelves that stretched fifteen feet from the floor" makes me wonder if no one thought to edit that, or if the narrator is actually over 7 feet.
