Oh no… I am nervous & scared for vianne & her children with this new German soldier

I am sad. I am on edge of trusting captain beck. He has tried to help vianne & her family but it is hard to trust him considering he works for the Germans. If only vianne waited to help Rachel, if she waited longer. It is heartbreaking that Sarah was shot & she had to be buried. Truly heartbreaking but Isabelle is a savage.

You know chapter 4 was kind of pointless so far… I don’t want to be too critical considering I’m not far into the book but idk that I needed a whole chapter telling me exactly what she bought at the grocery store & that she delivered it to her neighbor in exchange for dog sitting. Again will push on🫡😬
