Talia is finished with Juniper (Doran, #2)
Very insightful book! I found this book very inspiring and not so hard to read! It’s a perfect read for fantasy lovers who want to learn more about healing and spirituality. I could relate to Juniper (the main character) a lot and I’ve learned so much from her! Don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to give out any spoilers for those who want to read it!

I cannot believe I'm halfway through! This awesome story about a young girl who leaves her parents household learns about magic and other occult-related subjects from her godmother has been one of the best fantasy books I've read in 2021. The beginning of the ceremony happens at the stone building, and Junipers godmother Euny and other villagers Angharad and her daughter Trewyn come along.

I just finished the most inspirational part of the book; the part where Pollyanna plays the glad game with Nancy. I'm starting to enjoy observing how Pollyanna is able to see the good in such tough circumstances and I'm beginning to use "The Glad Game" as an example of what I've been practicing during this whole pandemic. Pollyanna is off to a rough start, but she embraces what she has around her.

During the last two chapters of the books, I've started to question the reasoning behind Juniper's parents desire to send Juniper to her godmother Euny. Yes, it's because they want her to master skills that she can't learn elsewhere, however where's the common sense? If Euny isn't the most trustworthy person for Juniper, why would the parent's send her? Do the parent's not have any insight or what?
