I’ve been OFF on reading. In a rut? Idk what my deal is. But I’m picking back up where I left off here and finishing this book today. 🔥 Determined to get back to my normal reading vibes.

This has been a slow read and I can’t tell if it’s the book or the result of a busy holiday schedule. I’ve had the busiest week and still trying to read. 🫣

My favorite vintage romance book booth is only open on the weekends- so now I’m excitedly waiting for it to be Saturday so I can go dig through the books and find a physical copy of Beauty and the Beast by Hannah Howell. I can’t wait to photograph it. ✨

95 pages in and this book just mentioned Emma of Normandy. 😭 I’m so proud. My Roman Empire.

The virtual voice on audible is the same one that reads Bobbi Smith books. So I’m in heaven. But this is also on Kindle too! 👌🏼

My reading time has been strained this week. I guess Thanksgiving week vibes. BUT I’m in a weird predicament. I love the writing in this book. So easy to binge. Don’t want to stop. AND YET 🫣 it’s cringe and making me question myself. This is a stalker romance. 🚩 MMC. And I’m like 🤔 am I a dark romance reader? I don’t know.

I started this book this morning and I’m instantly a FAN. The slave to lover trope that Viking books are known for here is so good because the FMC + MMC chemistry is 🔥 so good. The banter in this book is great. Literally binging. 😍

Despite disliking book two- I’m giving this one a try. I could have stopped the series but here I go. 🙃
