Four chapters in to one of our assigned books for Stress & Meditation course. It’s a pretty good intro to meditation, something that would’ve been great to have at the start of my journey decades ago. Still, Light’s EASY method is helping a bunch despite a few eye roll-inducing stories.

I took too long to finally tackle this book.. Better late than never I suppose. It’s lit 🔥 the chapter Learning the Grammar of Animacy alone is worth rereading a couple times. So rich in how linguistics shape our worldview and in turn how we treat our fellow organisms throughout our lifetime. 👏🏻

A good friend just reminded me that I need to read this, and wait, what?! It’s a required book for our indigenous land stewardship course this semester. Sweeet 🤩

Just skimmed this required text for our organic gardening course this fall at the U. It’s hand lettered and illustrations are hand drawn, limited edition signed copy. Beautiful work! Has to be the coolest textbook I’ve experienced yet.
