John Bogart is 21% done with Use of Weapons (Culture, #3)

So far I'm really liking this novel. I feel a little slow, though: It took me a couple chapters to figure out the structure if this novel (the two storylines, one moving forward, one moving backwards in time). It's on it's way to being my favorite Culture novel so far.

Charming so far. It reminds me a bit of a couple stories in Dreams Underfoot by Charles DeLint (in a good way). Definitely different from Harry Connolly's other series (The Great Way and Twenty Palaces), though similar to some of his short stories.
