This book was painful to get through…. Please, don’t pick it up! It seemed like it was going to be cute and fun. It was not.

I’m very selective on what Non-fiction books, and more so what non-fiction Christian books I consume these days. There are many voices, and I find most are sensationalizing scripture to be a voice that stands out…. When I say I RAN to buy this book when it came out, because Faith Womack is an exceptional Bible teacher, I mean I RAN! And you should too… phenomenal. All hail King Jesus.

In case you care, there was descriptive sex in this one. I found this story hard to get through. If you choose to read it, my suggestion is to skip the audiobook version….

In case you care, no spice in this one. It was a great story and I enjoyed it. The romance was great. The character development was well done….

The fact that anyone gave this book 5 stars reminds me that the reading of literary fiction is a 100% subjective act. Although the book had entertainment value, on any other level, there was very little redeeming value to this novel. I didn’t dislike it, as I will probably read the remainder of the series, however, five stars, or even four, would be absolutely ludacris to give to this book.
