Slow going - Singer's hypotheticals have a straw man taint to them. For example, in the 'drowning child' scenario, it's ingenuous to not also propose that there are thousands if not millions of other drowning children. Now what do you do? Save this one child, then the next, then the next and so on? Or do you work to make the world safer at a policy level. I'm still reading, looking for what truth is there.
