Just finished Arc Five which should be Volume 3 in the official translation. Volume 1 and 2 really did not do it for me because the flashbacks, albeit necessary, just removed me from the experience. Then this Arc came and it now just felt like things were flowing much better and more integrated to the couple. The last half is full of angst,pain and yearning which felt like just how a Mu Su Li novel canonically is.
