Just a little over 10% to narrate. And today, I'm going to write my rebuttal of G.K. Chestertons review of OMF.

About 2/3rds through my initial read through before I launch into recording it.
Fun premise & good writing.

Have I mentioned how much I love this book?
I'm currently narrating it for the heck of it & writing my own commentary to go with it.

I think Fully half of the last chapter I narrated in Falsetto. And that's before I apply any other effects to the dragon voices.

Gotta say - This is one of the most difficult books for me to narrate I've ever done. When there's a conversation with 8 or so feminine voices, it gets mildly taxing on my poor masculine mind.

Just about a quarter through on my recording of this one.
Having a dragon on the Autism spectrum makes form some interesting misunderstandings that go beyond the normal draconic misunderstandings.
Hope everyone likes my interpertation!

I adore this book. I've now passed the halfway point on my narration of it and have started writing my commentary to go along with it. Wrote a particular reflection on the juxtaposition of Headstone and Wrayburn that I'm quite pleased with. Should all be available for your listening pleasure come March or earlier. :)

I love how in this book you have Eugene Wrayburn, set up as a good for nothing aimless 20 something lawyer who does nothing pit against a self righteous, self made school teacher - The juxtaposition makes you hesitate to like Eugene at first, but ultimately, he is such an easygoing guy whose only weapon is wit, but he wields it mercilessly when confronted. And the one thing that he was ever inspired by changes him.

Currently narrating the audiobook. NO male characters until about 3/4 into the book. But fun anyway! Bede is an almost autistic dragon 🐉.
