My childrens’ dad was killed in a training exercise 05/05/05. The story in the preface which took place 05/10/05 had me in tears. I’ve read it 3 times since I bought this book in the gift shop at Arlington this past May (20th anniversary trip). I had to finish other books before I started this one last night. I thought I could get through this story again without tears, but I simply couldn’t. So far, it is excellent!
