Paula is reading Charis in the World of Wonders: A Novel Set in Puritan New England

I probably won't read it again. It was okay, but I found it kind of unbelievable. Charis wasn't really virtuous, just a niceish girl. If it's supposed to be a Cinderella story, I don't really get why she deserved anything different from anyone else.

Since the younger kids are getting old enough to cook, I checked this book out from the library. WOW! So far 20 of the recipes we will definitely baking again and again. Great for Christmas gifts, school lunches, tea parties, and just because.
