I'm ashamed to admit I'm reading this. Grooming to the left, Grooming to the right, infidelity, domestic violence, and the grand prize of sexual assault. Calling it "dubcon" or "noncon" doesn't change that. Yup, it's a 1%er horror novel. Shay and James make me want to buy a sig sauer.

I should just stay with books like this.

If this book causes erotic arousal, you need to seek help. I refuse to call this erotic horror. This is sexual horror. Horror. This is horror.

I think people need to check copyright dates. It might prepare you for some "features," like the repetitive nipples and rumps, no feminism, no women making more sound decisions, no men making sound decisions, and everyone humping and declaring love after only knowing each other for 36 hours. It's pulp horror comedy. It's a quick read unless you really hate it, and yes, laymon wrote like a 14 year old horny schoolboy.
