Been dragging this out like no other. I don't want it to end.

Fuck, I'm loving this. Never would have expected that I'd enjoy a Western so much, let alone an epic, but here we are. Now I have a serious thirst for more of this flavor, so I guess it's soon time to finally get around to that Border Trilogy and maybe "Tom's Crossing" before the end of the year.

Way better than it looks!

Somebody in my neighborhood dumps a fair amount of decent ARCs/uncorrected proofs of recently or about to be released books in our Little Free Library.

Oh, my favorite Christmas present! The 2023 edition. What a beautiful book; with the built-in ribbon bookmark and everything. I'm sure I'll tear through this tonight.

Starting another long-ass book, I guess. Couldn't pass this one up, and it's immediately gripping. Hope I still hit my fifty this year!

Pausing this. May finish later. Many beautiful passages, but overall not grabbing me.
