I've been meaning to try out different books than I usually read and heard a lot of people say this is something that kept them hooked, so I thought this would be a good starting point :)

This is so so so good I’m struggling to put it down lmao

Is Levan meant to be sympathized with? Because if so, fuck that. Oh, poor traumatized grown ass man committing violent crimes to innocent people. I feel like fantasy books these days are so hell-bent on the morally grey love interest trope that we’re losing our grasp on actual morality.

This is so good already

I wish there was an app like this but for fanfic

I'm reeling.
This has been a rollercoaster.
Also, I have an exam tomorrow and spent all day reading. I'm me again! :)

I did NOT see that coming ??????? But in hindsight it makes so much sense wtf

SO GOOD. SO SO GOOD

it's been so long since a book had me in such a chokehold omg I have so much to do but I can't put the book down help 😭

this is so gooooood omg and I love the writing style

the first five chapters were insanely confusing because of mainly the worldbuilding and infodumps, but also because those chapters are more of a prologue. Also they weren't even about the main character lol

Once everything clicked into place I realized this would probably be a new favorite book :)

Maybe, just maybe, I might be kinda sorta on a mini published-reylo-fanfic spree. Who knows :)

someone said this feels exactly like barbie in the nutcracker and I picked it up so fast

This kinda gives off the same vibes as the 1963 sword in the stone movie, which makes sense bc it's an older fantasy. Very different from anything I've read, though ig technically this would be the blueprint for the ones I'm used to reading.

In a good way, rlly, bc I feel like most fantasies from these days are too watered down and tropey, so it's nice to go back to the genre's roots :)

oh lord this series is gonna be tragic isn't it 😀

My loan at the library lapsed and I had to wait for a few days to re-borrow it lolol

I'm not into the horror-y aesthetics but Ava Reid is such an amazing writer I'm loving this + the audiobook is incredibleeee I love Saskia Maarleveld's narration sm
