So intriguing. So many loose threads, and I’m curious to know where they all lead.

*swoon* I am in love with this series all over again for the tenth time. If only I could fall through the pages and live in the snuggery for the rest of my days…

I’m barely 1 minute in, and just the timbre of Veronica’s voice sets me into giddy fits of joy! Damn, I adore this character! If I could live every day of my life in this fictional world, it would still not feel like enough!

This book covers so many years. The plot structure and pacing is a bit odd so I can’t really figure out the author’s intent. It feels more like a factionalized biography than a novel. Not bad, per se, but not what I thought it was going to be.

I don’t love the narrator - she’s far too stiff and formal so everything feels slow and monotone. But the action is engaging and I want to see what’s going to happen. I just wish the narrators energy and expression more closely matched the action of the plot.

I’m not really enjoying this. I don’t really care about anything that’s happening. Part of me wants to DNF it, but I’m already past 50%, so the other part of me just wants to get it done with.
