I watched the show, so I new the big plotlines, but still an entertaining read.

I took me a bit of getting into, especially the first part language wise. As a non native English speaker I struggled with making the distinction between real English word the I didn't know or not know and made up words. It was a bit of a rough read. Th second part went a lot better. Loving part 3 so far.

Wow, I wanted something to read on our train ride, but I ended up continuing to read in bed after we got home. Still don't know what's going on...

I bought the book because I was intrigued by the way the story is told. So far I'm not disappointed. Although it annoys me the paperclip comments obscure some of the text (although no relevant texts).

The story didn't grab me so far. I'm putting it down for a while.

Wha a great start... very atmospheric. This has a classic feel about it like a story from the Bronté sisters.

Very interesting magic system.

This book is boring.

Still curieus where the story will take us, but the book doesn't really draw me into the story.

I'm curious about what the big secret is.
Pacing is a bid slow.

Gorgeous illustrations, but I think the original illustrations were more for the kids.

Nothing original, rather normal, down to earth protagonist.

I honestly thought this book was seriously overhyped, but I just can't stop reading...

Started reading this to my kids. The illustrations are beautiful, we are two chapters in and they love it.

Very intrigued by the story.

I'm enjoying this. It's like a hand of potato chips between two healthy meals, you know it's not very nutritious, but boy does it taste good.

Not loving it, very slow start. If I wouldn't have read the blurb I would have no idea what this book is about.

I really liked the conclusion of the novella.

I like the second half of the novella much better. I like the haunted hotel premise.

Much of the same as with the previous 2 novella's.
Eddy McCoy seems an interesting character.

I did not see that plot twist coming. Absolutely gripping to the end.

The books starts similar to Sphere with aa bunch of specialist being rushed out to some secret discovery.
The feel of the book is very similar to what Michael Crichton would written.
On the end of day 2 tension has been build up and it's hard to put the book down.

Looks like Chis Wooding is drawing some inspiration from Cthullu
