Considering DNF’ing. book 2 seems like a mess, and this book is falling very flat for me. I hate not completing books but I have nothing more to gain from a book I’m halfway through with and still not engaged in. Especially if book 2 sucks lol.

I definitely see a lot of interesting concepts, but this world feels a bit rushed and underdeveloped. I thought Elara’s box was going to be a bigger plot point but that was solved very quickly
