This book is addicting!

It was a fun pallet cleanse and I can't wait for book 2!

(Spoilers)Death isn't really meaningful or impactful is what I've been learning. They are so non-Chauhan about it and Violet is way to obsessed with Xaden. She was surrounded by dead bodies and only thought about getting laid.

It's getting so good. I just wish Elspeth was more than just a damsel in distress

It's an ok read so far, a lot of modern language/slander thrown in does take me out of the world a bit.

This book is so good! The magic system is so unique and I absolutely love the story so far

Some of these side characters be having the worst lives and almost unnecessary deaths. Some of their deaths don't feel as impactful either, like they were killed for the sake of saying someone died

Why does the dragon have to be treated this way. I hope she survives

Wondering if the faerie and human like eachother

Wondering if the young dude is really an old dude disguised as a human.

(Spoilers) Finally getting interesting, but bruh why did they have to kill Kit before he even made it out of the castle? I thought he would have more of a heroic end or something, it felt like a rushed death and pointless one because now I feel like he should've just stayed behind.
