This book is the third in a series, which altogether comprises about 900 pages. It is an extraordinarily well-done volume with an impressive amount of research to support it. However, it is a very large volume, both in terms of content and physical size, so do not plan to read it in a single weekend.

I saw the movie version of ManhattanNoururne, which promptedme to buy the book. The print version is very dense, with lots of forays off into the weeds. Okay, but it means the basic thread of the story moves slowly. I will say this for the book: If you like explicit sex, then this is your kind of read. I'll circle back to this when I finish.
