Update: i like it more now and isolde does not bother me as much.

I find Isolde insufferable thus far. The writing of her character feels so performative … that she actually hates Adrian and that she cares so much about her people but then like has actually been absolutely sucky to anyone who is actually from her kingdom. And she really hasn’t even like strongly felt hatred for Adrian. She says she hates him but within the next sentence she is like drooling over him.
