okay i'm going to be honest: this is bordering on could've-been-a-shortstory-territory for me

up until now it was interesting but honestly it's kind of beginning to become repetetive at this point

the last epistolary novel i read was evelina by frances burney (which i didn’t enjoy at all) but let’s see where this goes

21 year-old me would've been obsessed with this

genuine question: can you lose your virginity when it’s locked in a jar? is the magical jar empty now? what happened to the jar? also: choosing the night countless of your friends died to rescue you from a man they thought was abusing you to cash in your v-card to said man? diabolical.

the part where the order infiltrates edinburgh and everyone starts massacring their oppressors? chills.

there is not one likeable character in these books. even the magical dog annoys me

the excessive use of the word 'alphahole' makes me want to quit this so badly (who thought that neologism was a good idea??) but unfortunately i own copies of the entire trilogy so i kind of can’t
