i hate it so much when books in a series summarize the previous installments piece by piece over the first three chapters. it’s like binge-watching a tv show and not being able to skip the „previously on…“

also what the hell is wrong with rose? she legitimately manages to summon the ghost of the woman whose death she is blamed for and doesn’t think to ask who the real killer is???
