this book is so good but it is a FIGHT to not DNF the audiobook... the sage narrator is so bad, and the voice she gives noah makes her sound like a cartoon character. i'm gonna stick with it but it looks like i found another narrator to add to my "do not listen" list T-T

to be completely honest, i think i have to stop reading college romances. i'm 31 and i can't help but feel like i'm too much of an adult to relate to these kids. also, college hook up culture was hell and i'd very much like to never go back, even in book form.

this book is really good so far except that i reaaaally can’t stand language barrier stories. at this point it just seems insensitive that riv hasn’t downloaded english to his translator

unfortunately i still find the MMC insufferable and we’re halfway through the book. ugh.

kind of annoyed that the abby is described as using she/they pronouns and yet the book has only ever used they/them pronouns for her so far... not all she/theys are the same, but as a she/they myself i ALWAYS notice when someone only ever uses one of my pronouns rather than both. who knows, maybe abby has different preferences than me, but it feels off.
