I’m not feeling this book at all. I keep having to start chapters over because my brain wanders. The story skips from one place to another.

I’m bored. Not sure I’m going to finish this.

So far I’m starting not to like Maxim. I hope I change my mind before this book is over.

I just want to take the week off to finish this book

So far I am loving this book sooo much! I related so much to the first couple chapters about fear and anxiety. I also enjoyed reading about the importance of friendships. I’m cracking up as she describes watching her daughters in their new place. Honestly I don’t think I was as mature at that age but I’m tickled by the way she describes them. I wonder what my mom would say about me at that age!

The Quincy Jones story is sooo interesting to me! I mean…a valet at his house???
I’m curious about Melanie’s version…

He’s quite the story teller. I’m sure he’s exaggerating some of this. I prefer reading over listening because his audiobook is over the top at times…

So far so very good. I have a feeling I’ll finish this book tomorrow. ;-)

The similes are killing me…

I have a feeling it’s going to take me a while to get through this book. I’m sure it’s a good story but I can’t stand having to read all the analogies and poetic account of simple things. It annoys me and makes me want to put the book down. I think most readers like it though so I understand why the book garnered such high ratings.
