I’m still waiting to read about these women writers’ writing… so far lots about their houses, the clearly more active men in their families, the amount of child mortality - but little (so far, anyway) about Theo actual writing. Mary Sidney, I’ve learned, edited her brother Phillip’s work, but even that detail is offered narratively rather than analytically.
Maybe I just have false expectations?
