Enjoying this reminder that I do, in fact, know how to read. Reading Les Mis almost made me forget.

I haven’t quit Les Mis, and I haven’t quit book club. Just being a bit chaotic, is all.

Spoilers, but like, no one ever sees the wife in the attic coming. 👀

Thomas thought Mr. Rochester’s gypsy shtick was kinda cringe.

I’m still having a good time. Would like to finish it this year, if I can. 🥴

It was my turn to choose the book we read together. 👀

And thus C’baoth departed with no one’s regret.

Thomas was proud of me for figuring out that Palpatine is Darth Sidious before the big reveal even though I haven’t seen the movies. 🤠

I am making progress on this, even if I’m not updating regularly.

Not sure if this book is a testament to how little I know about Waterloo or to how big a nerd Victor Hugo was. 🤓

Between my personal read, my book club read, and what I am now reading with Thomas, idk how I am going to keep this all straight. I’m going to start thinking Virgil Feltner was killed by a Hutt in the battle of Waterloo.

I have a sneaking suspicion I’m going to struggle less with this one than I did with Tress.

Got through about 23% yesterday. Totally reasonable for me to expect to finish by tonight, right? 🤪

I’m laughing out loud at way more of these silly quips and lame jokes than I care to admit.
