I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to.

While some parts seemed too foreshadowed, there were many twists I did not see coming.

Probably would have been better if I realized there was a book #1 and read it first. Not interesting enough to go back for book 1 right now. I was expecting more suspense, and was letdown. It’s not that it was a bad book, it just wasn’t what I was looking for.

Can’t wait to read more from this author.

While this is a good book, it failed to keep me engaged. I learned a lot but it took effort to want to keep reading. I love Brene Brown. Maybe I was just trying too hard.

At one point I even felt my heart rate pick up. This book was that good.

Beginning was slow. But it picked up and was definitely worth the read.

I want to love the book. The plot and ending were good. But the inconsistencies about the characters changing. Nam s were changed, personalities changed, and previous plots were omitted.

Still disturbed by some inaccurate references to Mort’s wife and the mayor.

Such a great book. Can’t wait to read the other books in the series.

Lynda Mullaly Hunt knocked it out of the park with this witty tear-jerker story.

Lots of review of strategies. I enjoyed the charts for questioning.
