15 - Malachi 4:6 The bigger story is "the story of God redeeming all mankind. The covenant is God's promise to bring about that redemption,  and it is only when our hearts turn to the covenant again that the gospel can roll forth in the way it needs to. 9 - once we make a covenant with God, we have left neutral ground forever. God will not abandon His relationship with those who have forged such a bond to Him..all those who have made a covenant with God have access to a special kind of love and mercy. HESED.
10 - He will love them in such a way that, no matter what, He will continue to work with them and offer them chances to change and return to Him when they stray

8 - God is unfailing in His role in the covenant; the only variable in this relationship is us. God wants us to return to Him in a higher, holier state, and He has made a plan, or a path, for that to happen... This is a lopsided covenant relationship, for we are clearly the beneficiaries and God is the benefactor.

He is anxious to bless us more than we deserve and make more of us than we could hope for.

8 - The key is to remember that God has initiated the connection. Ever since the Fall, He has voluntarily bound Himself to us, despite our continual steroids away from Him.
