It has a very interesting story line, I like the characters , and it's a long and expanded version from the series. I like the fact that it's set in the Dark age during the Viking rule over England despite having fictional characters and events . It has some very sad moments , and gruesome as well . I like Uthred because he became a soldier from a very early age and he can speak both English and Danish.
