A three-book collection which became the first Agatha Christie novels I have read, well to be honest read the first two stopped halfway through the third as I got bored. AXC not as engaging as the rumour about her work suggests

Can anyone tell me why I should finish reading this book? It is like watching paint dry. The story is trying to build up suspense but I find I cannot really care about what happens it is so low key, more fun searching for a discounted item in Tesco.
