Nicole S is starting Such a Fun Age
20% into this novel. The first chapter/scene was well written and engaging. Alix with her weight shaming friends, judging the people around her based on their shoes/ handbags/bragging about how she doesn't sit on airport toilets and proclaiming thats the way everyone should handle it is annoying to say the least. Im assuming this is setup for character growth and development but dang i almost dont want to read more

This book is why I enjoy non-fiction so much. Lots of wonderful information. The info relayed in this book is conversational and not too weighed down and fascinating. I'm on the blood chapter! Honestly think I learn something new every time I pick this book up.

I am almost done and not sure what to think. I'm listening to the audio book, the voice person is great (but a little slow). The book is so painfully descriptive I can image the scenes and suffering of Sarette, and her community.
Just yesterday I was really connected with the book, really getting into it. Can't wait to see how it ends.

Growing frustrations. The Megan Kelly chapter is so completely whiny. I feel like we all see him the way he is, but this book isn't giving me any new info.
I'm so glad O'Reilly is in awe of our sexist racist president. Trying to fill in the things he should have said. I have to retire it for the moment but I will return. I haven't come across the "grab women" inappropriately section yet, gotta hear Bill's take.

I am telling myself I am going to finish. O'Reilly says he is trying to explain how Trump became Trump. Early chapters seem very strongly to insinuate that his father and grandfather were bigoted and racist in their home rentals/sales, ignoring court orders. My family is from the south, ignorance, racists, slave-owners years ago. I don't believe this would be an excuse for my father to behave in a racist manor.
