Accidentally started reading this at Kaitlyn’s house and got over a third of the way through because it’s sooo good

I wanted to read this in September of last year but I got wrapped up in that god-awful epistolary. As expected, another September came around.

Some intermediary reading while I wait for my next book to arrive

Ahhhh this is such a good reveal, and I’m going back on reading all of the typewriter pages and noticing the intentionally vague language now. Super cool. Will hopefully finish tomorrow.

I just found out that the part I’m reading now is the story behind the first part. I thought it was an anthology. I wish I knew before, because part of what’s been keeping me from reading this is that I learned nothing from the first part and it felt like a let-down. I also would’ve done a better job remembering the first part if I knew. But it does make me like it a little more!

This one is interesting but the translation is making it so strange to read. Like “Hahaha” mid-sentence in quotation marks

This is cool. I think I need to take my time reading it though because half the fun is trying to figure out the mystery of the images on my own but I just kept reading for the first one.
