I finished the first story in the book (the book is comprised of two shorter stories) and UH, that was WEIRD. Really, really, weird. But I liked it. It was not at all what I expected though, and required a lot of suspending my disbelief.

Flying through this because I really like it even though I’m over halfway through and still don’t see this as a horror story. A little sad and full of early 1900s incels, sure, but nothing too scary. It’s kind of hopeful, if anything.

I got this book from the oldest operating bookstore in the world, in Lisbon, and it has a stamp to prove it! One of the first pages has a quote from Fernando Pessoa that I really like, too.

That one was sooo much fun but I wish they set up the dollhouse thing earlier in the story rather than it just appearing out of nowhere

I loved the events of this one but the way the characters reacted to the events was really weird I think
