You always have the worry when the first book is amazing that the second will struggle to live up to the hype and this is good but currently feeling very much like it could potentially just be setting everything up for an explosive third

I am STRESSED, feel like a Sanderlanche kind of ending is coming and I am not ready.

Absolutely not a single clue what is going on

Read this when I was about 12 and have spent about 15 years on and off trying to find it as all I could remember was 'two siblings walked down steps into another world and there were weird crocodile creatures'. I legit cried when I finally found it recently after pretty much giving up all hope, so this is giving me all of the nostalgic feels.

Can already tell this is going to be bloody fabulous

Not sure what my feelings are on this yet, currently not living up to the hype but its still early days so we shall see

Could tell this was going to be a 5 star book from the start and I am currently not disappointed

I have not actually read anymore of this because i'm currently in a Harry Potter fanfic hole that I estimate I'll be in for another week or so 😂

This has just not grabbed me, to the point I put it down and didnt read it for a month so its going in the DNF pile for now, I may come back to it at some point but not anytime soon

Dubious seen as I hated Zodiac Academy and this gives me similar vibes, but we shall see how it goes
