FMC is irritating the life out of me already

Flew through the first half of this

I have been fully invested since the start, I know other people have found it slow but I have not had that problem haha

Finding it a tad underwhelming, don't get me wrong it's still very good but so far not the blow me away kind of deal I was expecting.

This is an absolute dumpster fire of a book but its absolutely what I needed after Sword Of Kaigen 😂

This makes Blood Over Bright Haven look positively joyful, I have done nothing but CRY 😭💀

I think I have spent more time in the glossary than I have actually reading this (still looking like a stellar 5 star atm though)

Picking this back up after accidentally forgetting about it since last year, not a single clue whats going on but I am enjoying the vibes 😂

You always have the worry when the first book is amazing that the second will struggle to live up to the hype and this is good but currently feeling very much like it could potentially just be setting everything up for an explosive third

I am STRESSED, feel like a Sanderlanche kind of ending is coming and I am not ready.

Read this when I was about 12 and have spent about 15 years on and off trying to find it as all I could remember was 'two siblings walked down steps into another world and there were weird crocodile creatures'. I legit cried when I finally found it recently after pretty much giving up all hope, so this is giving me all of the nostalgic feels.

Can already tell this is going to be bloody fabulous
