This book is different. It’s slow at getting to the next traumatic event, which you know is going to happen. The emotions and relationships are difficult and I have found they stir up emotions in the reader. I’m annoyed at her mum, so annoyed. Too little, too late!

All falling into place now. The letters were not written by the woman who is currently married to Adam. Bit of a head wrecker as I had been thinking that all throughout the book.

Okay so searched for ‘wife’ to see if I could find something about a first wife or previous wife and realised Adam refers to his ‘wife’ quite a lot, rather than using the name Amelia.
If Robin is Henry’s daughter are the letters are written by her and Amelia is Robins friend from work who seduced Adam?

I’m confused. Is Amelia Adams second wife?

Loving this book. Loving their secrets and eager to find out what they’re both planning. Adam definitely planned this winning raffle prize - what is he up to?

Oh God! Really hope Bree is okay. Can’t believe the author has decided now to go back to Archer’s background. Really taking the piss! I can’t cope. Oh and a lot of sex in this book. Pretty graphic. It’s okay and fitting with the story, but skimming over most. Loving the book though.

These kind words of books keep me waiting. It actually pains me at how obvious it all is, but I need to keep reading, watching things get worse and worse, literally screaming at him ‘are you fucking thick, it’s him you dick!’. But I have to wait until he cops on and I find out just how bad it gets and the full motive behind it.

Not sure about this. I’m not impressed by mind games and secrets. I mean it’s so obvious that things are going to become twisted. How can you propose to love someone and then make them feel like crap. How can you propose to love someone and not be honest. They say they are being, but they’re not. Why not tell him what happened? Why enjoy making him suffer? That’s not love.

So I think Binty is the sister. She gets pregnant to Kip- that’s who’s buried in the garden and Vivian is Bintys child, but Jeff raised her???

Loving the concept of this book, but I’m not feeling the fear, panic and confusion that would be part of this experience.

So she did kill him? And she’s protecting her from remembering it. But why and why is Maggie glad. I have suspicions of course, the usual.

Okay if she wants to kill Alastair, then Nina didn’t kill him. And what about the baby? Does Nina really have that genetic disease? Did Maggie kill the baby? Who kills Jon’s girlfriend? What’s the big secret Nina can’t find out? Damn it, too many questions! I need answers!!!!

I gave it 100 pages and no, it’s a DNF for me. It is so sexist, these men are morons and him, he’s a complete dick. All the talk about stock markets and deals is boring. Not my thing at all.

Not sure about this one. Bad smell in the basement, thumping from the trunk of the car and obligated to work for 2 summers and carry out monthly ‘tasks’ for 4 years. Seems a bit obvious he’s a fucking killer or torturer or something and he’s just roped himself into helping him out. Also the writing is a bit stilted and how can you see someone smirk on the phone?
