Bro I read YA with better writing style than this.....what is this🤡🤡 for the sake of continuing this one, I started the audiobook but it's not saving the day

This is the worst prologue I've ever read in my reading career so far. I was so hyped about this book but now I genuinely want to dnf this........I writing style does not suit my taste

Ok so I very excited starting my first Emi ly Henry book but the unnecessary yapping about what we should be doing on a vacation kind of set a negative impression on me. That's not how I expected for this book to start. Now that I'm not excited anymore, I think I might just set this one aside for some time. Maybe I'll finish one book or two then come back to it 🫤
