why is this book a slow burn when their whole relationship is a slow burn? like it’s book 5 in this world, let’s get into it. CW does have a talent for keeping me entertained despite a lack of plot tho

AHHHH so much action from the start. Thank goodness I’m already familiar with the world since I read ZA. Otherwise, I’d be really confused. I missed the twisted sisters so hopefully this new series gives me ZA feels✨

I’m still invested in the series but I need it to pick up the pace some. I understand not much happening while she was still under Midas’s thumb. Her working through his manipulation was the main focus. HOWEVER, I’m at nearly 40% now and she’s just been recovering this whole time?

I think this series would be better from Third POV. not a fan of unreliable narrators who purposely leave information out

Okay let’s do this again. I read the prologue over a year ago. It’s such a small snippet to judge but I immediately thought the writing was bad. However, it’s spooky szn so I’m willing to give it another chance.

I enjoyed Orion’s POV. Good balance of being a refresh of the story without feeling redundant so far. Hopefully that doesn’t change.
