I thoroughly enjoyed this book and although I knew quite a lot about Chaucer I have discovered some more about his life through this book .

I was loaned this book by my cousin and I have to say I am profoundly glad they did loan it to me. What an amazing and thought provoking book this is. I hate having to put it down but time pressuress elsewhere have meant a delay in finishing reading this book....watch this space

Love this book, Peter Mayle's style just draws you into it, its a great way to lose yourself.
