I think it’s actually crazy how similar hunger games is to the current global environment is just borderline fucked up to realize cause I read it back when I was 14 and I didn’t even think about much when reading it but now it’s just drastic how much the inspiration comes from reality and how much it parallels

it’s a very easy read but really boring at the sane time for some reason the plot is not plotting correctly for me 😔i need some conflict I NEED THE DRAMA

oh damn i thought this was an adult novel not a young adult for some reason, idk with the same themes that ann liang writes(i feel like this is the third one that discusses the same aspects of school pressure) i feel like writing something adult centered would be more interesting? at least after reading two of her young adult books but maybe this dwells deeper into the darker themes hopefully
