During my youth, this book was required reading, so I read it with little interest and great confusion. Some decades later, in 2019, I read the book again, this time savoring it and looking up any unclear words in dictionaries. It is a well-written novella and I might read it again in the future. I recommend reading the foreword and other introductory material, since they provide context that some people might like.
