why am i physically incapable of reading one historical at a time. why do i have to immediately read five in a row

this isn’t a bad book by any means but the series gets so progressively insane that reading books 2-6 and then going back to book 2 makes this one feel pretty boring. winter is here but we don’t even know he’s batman yet
