This quite a different approach to a dystopian novel but it's keeping me interested.

I'm not in the age group that this book is written for and it's getting a little slow and long; however, for the target age group, I'm sure it's fascinating. I love this author and all of his other art which includes music, visual art, and music.

Chapter 4

Bleak, dark, and puzzling. But I'm sticking with it.

Love this book so far.

My head is muddled with the honey mentioned in the book. I'm confused and a little disappointed. I've given up trying to understand this book but I'm just enjoying the descriptions and world the author has built.

How have I missed this one before? I'm reading an electronic copy but I just might have to get a hard copy of this one!

I'm not quite sure what to make of this book. It has quite a bit of suspense because we don't really know what has caused the situation this community is experiencing. I'm disappointed with the foul language. It's just a bit too much.

Interesting story. I’m dying to know who the composer is!!!

Reading anything by Luci Shaw is a delight.

Love the candor and honesty of these essays.

He challenges his readers to avoid using the following words for one week: very, rather, really, quite, in fact, just, so, pretty, of course, surely, that said, and actually. His is also a fan of the Oxford or serial comma. I'm liking this guy already.

I'm on chapter 16 and I can't stop!

I'm really enjoying going through this collection.

Very interesting and I really enjoy the small commentaries the author includes at the end of each story.
