takin a break from historical fiction w contemporary romance...abby jimenez's books are always so grounded in reality and dont shy away from heavy topics and they're always so well done (despite the incredibly cringey titles)! so far the night we met has lived up to the hype...boyfriend's best friend trope going in HARD

i think this is my first book by this author and im diggin it so far! im liking the characters and how self aware the author is of modern rom com books. i appreciate how theyre using 'rivarly' instead of 'enemies' bc it's clear that jonah was so into sadie by the first page. hopefully theres no poopy third act breakup :)
