the part with Napoleon literally USING the puppies he RAISED and turning them into attack dogs?? insane omg like poor Snowball. but also i guess i never fully learned about communism but seeing how it's portrayed in chapters 4(?)-6 is so interesting and it really connects all the dots for me. epsecially the concept of brainwashing too with the animals. Mollie leaving made me sad too :(

Interesting how some of the animals are described as "stupider" or "the cleverest." It's kind of as if the pigs are the ones writing the descriptions, or like the story is told from the memory of one of the pigs possibly? The ending of chapter 3 is kinda sad though, all those poor other animals and the babies too :( Kinda sucks that I'm struggling to remember animal types with their names, there are just so many

hopefully this gets me out of my reading slump 🫠

My goal of finishing this before the semester ends is feeling more impossible every time I pick it back up 😔
